RESET STEPS

    Close all doors and turn the ignition to ON/RUN without starting the engine.

  2. 2

    Fully press and release the accelerator and brake pedals at the same time (some years: accelerator alone). Hold about 2 seconds.

  3. 3

    Repeat for a total of 3 cycles within 10 seconds. Watch the cluster for the oil-life reset message or a flashing oil light.

  4. 4

    Wait a few seconds, then start the engine and confirm 100% oil life.

    Start the vehicle or turn the ignition to ON/RUN.

    Use the steering-wheel controls to open the instrument cluster menu, then go to SETTINGS → MAINTENANCE (or OIL LIFE).

  3. 3

    Select RESET OIL LIFE and confirm.

  4. 4

    Verify the cluster now reads 100% oil life.
