With the ignition on, use the cluster or steering-wheel MENU buttons to open SETTINGS.

Go to SERVICE → RESET (some models: SERVICE INTERVALS → RESET).

Choose OIL CHANGE → RESET and confirm.

Start the engine and verify the service reminder is gone.
Tip: Older VW/Audi models use a pedal/SET-button sequence — a dealer tool or scan app may be required on some of them.

- Warm oil is hot — let the engine cool a few minutes before draining.
- Reset resets the internal interval timer; it doesn't change what's in the sump.
